A charity fundraising evening of jazz, soul, blues and latin music
Hosted by the The Wang Dang Doodles and friends
With Latin DJ
Charity auction - with prizes donated by the Embassies of Mexico, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic; Cubana, Mestizo, Wahaca and La Piragua Restaurants; Cris Lobo Designs and Chicken Bus crafts.
All money raised at this event will go directly to LAWRS' work with Latin American women.
Please note that Latin Square operates a 21 and over policy.
The Latin American Women's Rights Service (LAWRS) has been working for the rights of Latin American women in London for 25 years. It is the only Latin American organization to exclusively work to secure Latin American women's rights to live a more autonomous life. LAWRS works to support women in times of urgent need and works alongside women aiming for a better chance in life. LAWRS offers advice, counselling, information, training and education. Our services include advocacy and information in areas such as housing, domestic violence prevention; counselling; ESOL classes; business advice and volunteering as a pathway to employment. www.lawrs.org.uk
